Description: The K-DON-1600M is a 1600A Frame, Electrically / Motor Operated, Fused, Draw-out Style Air Circuit Breaker manufactured by ITE, ABB, BBC, and Gould throughout its production lifecycle. It was originally outfitted with a Micro Power Shield type MPS-C 2000 digital solid state trip unit, however, new trip unit models are available. The “M” designation at the end of the part number refers to the last design ABB produced of the K-DON which has non-asbestos arc chutes. Although the unit photographed is an electrically / motor operated unit, manually operated K-DON-1600M breakers are also available.
