Description: The Siemens-Allis LA-3000 is a 3000A Frame, Electrically Operated, Draw-out Style Air Circuit Breaker. This particular LA-3000 is identifiable by its blue/gray plastic front. The plastic front was prone to breaking. It was originally outfitted with a Static Trip I series solid state trip unit, however, new trip unit models are available. Although the unit photographed is an electrically / motor operated unit, manually operated LA-3000 blue breakers are also available. The LA-3000 EO/DO was designed to be inserted into Low Voltage LA Switchgear.
